Videos of Persuasive Speeches

Posted by Mr. P

Hey Students!

Here are the clips from the videos that we watched today in class.

Friday Night Lights: —http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYN4jnA8fKs

President Obama's "Points of Light" speech at Texas A&M: —http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqP7yPd5GX0

Let me know if you have trouble accessing these.

Just a quick reminder, your persuasion test is this Friday, 1/29! We will be finishing up speeches in class tomorrow then briefly reviewing to get you prepared.

Have a fantastic evening!

About this blog

Hey Freshmen!

Come here for important reminders for tests, nightly homework, or any important project assignments that you may have! Remember, you must speak like the brilliant mind that I know you are. This means, no text message lingo, use complete sentences, etc.

Also, we can use this blog as a continuation for our amazing class discussions that we'll often have! Feel free to ask me any questions about what we're reading at any time. If you come across something while you're reading at home, don't hesitate to post it up here! There's a good chance that someone may have your same question!
